On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the French poet Arthur Rimbaud and the International Biennial event of Poetry "Les Ailleurs", Federica Matta was invited by the city of Charleville-Mézières and the Passages association (Strasbourg) to exhibit some kakemonos at the heart of the Auditorium of the Museum of Ardenne in Charleville-Mézières.
At the same time, Venus Khoury-Ghata - prize-winner of the Goncourt prize of the poetry 2011 - and Federica Matta led the evening opening of the biennial event by the reading of poems of the world, Rimbaud and their own texts. Punctuated with their exchanges questioning the use of the words, the wealth of language and the state of our society, this evening ends in the musical reading of two poems of Rimbaud by the group "Duo Accor". |
